Peppermint Brownies

Peppermint Brownies

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, grease 9x9 pan.

Brownies:
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. margarine, melted
1 c. sugar
Beat well

2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 tsp. peppermint extract
gradually add melted chocolate while mixing, stir well until blended

1/2 c. flour
Mix

Bake for 25 min.

Remove from oven and cool

Peppermint Frosting:
2 tbsp margarine (soft)
2 tbsp cream (I needed a little more)
Blend

1-1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. peppermint extract
Mix until smooth, add additional cream if necessary.

Top brownies, chill

Glaze:
6 oz. (1/2 pkg) chocolate chips
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp. vanilla
melt & pour over top of frosting on brownies

Let cool
